Being an Aldi Store Assistant

What makes a great Store Assistant? Well, it’s the little things really. A queue of customers at the till? You’ll jump on a different till and halve their waiting time. A pallet of bananas in the warehouse? You’ll put them out in the store, rather than wait for someone else to do it.

Ultimately, it’s all about being a naturally friendly, respectful and thoughtful colleague who’s a bundle of enthusiasm and positivity. It’s this positive attitude that helps to make Aldi wonderfully different, not to mention successful.

Our application process

Meet one of our Store Assistants

You’ll find fewer Store Assistants at Aldi than most supermarkets. Partly because of the efficient way we work. But also because they’re pretty unique. While others may shirk at the responsibility, our people love to roll up their sleeves and keep the store running as efficiently as possible. Want to know more? Well, let our Store Assistants tell you and watch their videos. They like to do things for themselves, after all.
