As GBC sits between business and IT teams, we need the right combination of experts in technology, agile development, UX and UI, business change and process design. GBC Director

As a Director, you’ll make sure that your team has everything they need to do their best work, while also setting the department’s strategic direction. Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll be directly responsible for aligning product and change roadmaps with senior country stakeholders. You’ll also ensure Delivery and IT teams are developed, motivated and ready to face new challenges every day.

GBC Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager, you’ll be a forward thinking expert in customer-facing technology, data management, agile development and customer experience. It’s about making sure your product area continuously improves and develops in line with the industry, strategy, and roadmap. All while managing your team on a day-to-day basis.

Reporting to a Director, you’re the person to deliver real improvements for the whole Aldi South group. Importantly, you’re comfortable translating complex technical topics and ideas - communicating them simply to senior management and business and IT stakeholders. In addition, you’re a natural when it comes to managing external vendors.

GBC Manager

As a Manager, it’ll be your job to lead a team that translates business and customer demands into product functionalities and requirements. You’ll ensure these considerations are reflected in the solutions we develop, and support roll-out across every territory. In addition, maximising return on investment while delivering at pace is key to this role.

Reporting to a Director, you’ll manage a team of highly skilled and motivated Specialists and Analysts. Your focus will be on shaping future digital solutions, UX and UI as well as business processes, data aspects and critical interfaces. Rapid Proof of Concepts will help you choose the right partners and vendors, while agile delivery will allow you to release value to the business and customers often and early.

GBC Specialist

As a Specialist, you’ll own your area to develop and deliver new improvements on behalf of the global business. You could be a Training and Change Management Specialist, a Product Owner delivering agile product releases, or an IT Expert supporting business teams with technology. You’ll have a lot on your shoulders, but seeing your ideas implemented across all Aldi countries will make every day amazing.

Using your initiative, you’ll find new ways of improving processes and systems, helping us achieve new levels of efficiency. Crucially, you’ll also test new procedures and systems ahead of roll-out on an international level, and support the business in adopting your new ideas.

GBC Personal Assistant

As a Personal Assistant, you’ll provide the GBC Director with outstanding organisational and administrative support. Day-to-day, you could find yourself managing incoming and outgoing communications, support meetings and vendor engagements, looking after extensive travel planning and administration – while always having eye on getting the best value for money.

With a focus on efficiency, accuracy and compliance, you’ll help ensure the department runs smoothly. You’ll liaise with external service providers and bodies, as well as internal and external auditors. Plus, you’ll train other colleagues when required.
